Latino Advisory Council

As anchor institutions, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, RWJBarnabas Health, and Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey are committed to addressing the clinical and social factors that affect health outcomes by providing wellness initiatives, cancer education, local hiring and workforce development, contract opportunities for minority-owned and woman-owned businesses and improving the neighborhood and built environment. The Latino Advisory Council is a select group of cross sector community leaders that serve as advisors and partners for promoting equitable health and economic wellbeing of New Brunswick. Their insight and leadership, as well as the reciprocal flow of information will be key to our success in ensuring the health and well-being of our New Brunswick community and will help ensure that values, and cultural differences among persons and communities are respected.
