2021 Annual Clinical Practice and Research Summit

RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Cancer Institute held its inaugural Clinical Practice and Research Summit on November 13, 2021.

RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey held its inaugural Clinical Practice and Research Summit on November 13, 2021.  During the all day workshop, leaders and physicians from both organizations shared their expertise on advances in cancer research and treatment with a focus on clinical trials.

Topics included multiple myeloma, precision medicine, immunotherapy, surgical oncology, biosimilars, Her2+ and triple negative breast cancer, genitourinary cancers, and radiation oncology.  Dr. Peter O’Dwyer, Director, Developmental Therapeutics Program at the Abramson Cancer Center and Professor of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania and Co-Chair of the ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group, delivered the keynote address “Precision Medicine, Real-World Data, Health Equity: The Elements of Cancer Research.”
